Mindfulness
Mindfulness is a way of providing self-care by developing a practice of physical movements, meditation & breathing techniques to become aware of
what’s going on within & around you.
This becomes evident by examining our thoughts, emotions, and/or bodily sensations. Once we’re aware, we can choose to explore, ignore, or release it.

Cultivating Mindfulness
Getting started with a mindfulness meditation practice can sometimes seem intimidating, but it's important to remember that even a few minutes each day can be beneficial. Just a few minutes of being present can reap significant benefits. Even if you don't do it every day, it's a practice you can keep coming back to when you need it.
Find time to be alone – start by dedicating a few minutes of the day to spend time with SELF!
Make yourself comfortable by finding an area with the least distractions.
Movement can be meditative. Incorporate it into your practice.
Consider your practice as opportunities for promoting loving kindness & gratitude. Get to know yourself from the inside out.
Know that it’s okay to have a sense of curiosity. Feel free to examine the sensations within your body, your thoughts, and/or emotions “IF” that’s what you choose to do. Your mind is a no-judgment zone!
Realize no two practices are the same. I invite you to open your awareness to each moment within your practice.
Don’t be afraid of the silence. Use your senses to explore your surroundings.
